Hi Guys,
France travel blog is still in progress. Meantime, I have posted a few photos taken in the Palace of Versailles. We had visited the Palace on 18 June 2013.
The Palace of Versailles, or simply Versailles (English /vɛərˈsaɪ/ vair-sy or /vərˈsaɪ/ vər-sy; French: [vɛʁsɑj]), is a royal château in Versailles in the Ile-de-France region of France. It is also know as the Château de Versailles.
Address: Place d'Armes, 78000 Versailles, France

Marie Antoinette and her children. King Louie XVI and Marie Antoinette died under guillotine during the French Revolution. The fate of their then 10 year old son has been a mystery for over 2 centuries. Did he suffer as his parents or was he able to escape? The daughter, Marie Therese had lived till her 72nd year but she spent most of her life with bitterness, anger and exiled from France.
The Hall of Mirrors is the central gallery of the Palace. It features 17 mirrors-clad arches that reflects the 17 arcaded windows that overlook the garden.
I would post more photos taken in the garden and in the Palace later.
